Luoyang Longmen Flower Building Luxury Xiangshan Courtyard Hotel

Project Description

Huazhu Shuo Xiangshan Villa Hotel | Hidden in the Longmen Grottoes for thousands of years, the dreamy hot spring secret
Amid the whispers of the thousand-year-old stone carvings at the Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang, the Huazhu Shexiangshan Bieyuan Hotel quietly blossoms. Nestled in the ancient streets of the scenic area, this hot spring resort hotel, with its 3200㎡ Oriental aesthetic space, seamlessly blends the cultural essence of the grottoes with the poetic charm of Jiangnan gardens, offering travelers a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle.
1.Enter the cave and dream, immersive experience of grotto culture
Stepping into the 2000㎡ indoor space, the 32 meticulously designed guest rooms transcend traditional boundaries. Guided by the philosophy of 'seeing the caves but not the Buddha,' the design philosophy integrates the artistic essence of the Longmen Grottoes into every detail. Through the play of light and shadow in the carved window lattices, you can touch the faintly visible relief patterns on the walls or wander through the grotto-themed cultural and creative items placed on the bedside table. Without visiting the grottoes in person, one can still experience the awe-inspiring thousand-year-old art within these small spaces. In the early morning, as the morning mist swirls around the windows, it seems as if the gentle chanting from deep within the grottoes can be heard.
2.Second, the Zen secret of Jiangnan gardens, where the winding path leads to a secluded place
The 1200㎡ courtyard landscape, inspired by the Chinese garden design of 'winding paths and deep groves,' weaves a vivid and dynamic landscape. Passing through the moon gate, a winding path connects bamboo groves, artificial hills, and flowing water. The layout, with its separation of quiet and lively areas, allows guests to enjoy private moments by the pond where koi fish play or chat with friends at the open-air tea house. The corridor linking the hall and the tea house is the finishing touch of the entire courtyard. —— The design of the Si Shui Gui Tang ingeniously channels natural light and rain, with eight lotus rain chains cascading down, creating a natural symphony in the blue stone pond, symbolizing the auspicious meaning of 'wealth from all directions.'
2.Third, a poetic dwelling, a vacation utopia that heals the body and mind
Surrounded by natural stone walls and bamboo fences, the area is isolated from the outside world, creating a 'Shangri-La' as described by Tao Yuanming. As you stroll through this tranquil space, the rustling bamboo leaves and the fragrance of flowers refresh your senses, while the warm, misty hot springs carry a Zen-like atmosphere, instantly soothing your weary body and mind. As night falls, you can lie in the private hot spring pool of your guest room, watching the stars reflected on the water and listening to the distant sounds of traditional opera from the ancient street. In this blend of thousand-year-old culture and modern luxury, you embark on a vacation that transcends time and space.
Huazhu Shuo Xiangshan Villa Hotel is not only a place for rest, but also a deep dialogue about culture, aesthetics and healing. Here, time slows down, soul calms down, and every inch of space tells the romance and warmth of Oriental elegance.

About hand drawing: Previously, when communicating design concepts with clients, we relied on paper hand-drawn sketches. This method made it difficult to convey many perspectives and lines, leading to a lack of clarity in the client's understanding of our design philosophy. As a result, new 3D modeling and rendering would take several days before we could communicate with the client. This reduced work efficiency and often led to missed opportunities. After switching to computer hand-drawn sketches, I rediscovered my passion for drawing. Now, I focus solely on creating my own designs, finding joy in the process and in life.
