Jiangti Chunxiao, 135 sqm

by Quzhou Liangdu Space Design Co., Ltd.

Project Description

This project takes a 135-square-meter space as its medium, merging minimalist Italian aesthetics with contemporary concepts of living. It seeks to explore a residential approach that embodies both cultural distinctiveness and sustainable value.
In terms of execution, the project relies on high-value primary materials, including modular woodworking systems and natural stones, alongside linear lighting and a main-light-free design to replace complex decorative forms. This strategy not only keeps the budget under control but also improves the space's durability and ease of maintenance, thereby maximizing its long-term value.
The project employs an integrated LDK design, removing the boundaries between the living room, dining room, and kitchen to establish a seamless and efficient circulation flow. In the bedrooms, a low-saturation color palette combined with soft lighting fosters a restful sleeping environment. The built-in storage system opens up the common areas and responds to everyday usage patterns, ensuring that every spatial dimension is tailored to actual living needs.
The pursuit of "the beauty of order" in Italian minimalist design resides in precise proportions and clean lines. The project thoughtfully integrates ink-wash-patterned stone, warm wood veneers, and Italian minimalist lines, eschewing excessive ornamentation to convey the artistic essence of Italian minimalism through unadorned materials. The low-saturation palette—composed of wood tones, black, white, and gray—imbues the space with a quiet, restrained character. Moreover, the textural contrast between natural marble and leather sofas creates a subtle dialogue of materials in the details. Linear lighting blends with natural light streaming through floor-to-ceiling windows, further amplifying the serene and sophisticated ambiance for visual and tactile comfort.
With the addition of lived-in touches—a fireplace, a wine cabinet, a coffee corner—the space transcends utility to become an emotional container that supports both family interaction and moments of personal retreat. Generous natural light and open sightlines evoke a deeper connection to nature and the authentic essence of daily life, shaping a contemporary living experience defined by warmth and a strong sense of belonging.
