In this space, less is truly more. Soft neutral tones form the foundation, complemented by hand-applied finishes that bring warmth and a sense of craftsmanship. As time passes, the walls naturally develop character, enriching the space with a grounded atmosphere.
【Functionality】
The open-plan layout seamlessly connects the living room, dining area, kitchen, and entryway. The flow of natural light introduces a subtle sense of movement within the space. At the entryway, warm wood and woven rattan turn everyday moments into peaceful rituals. Curves create a fluidity that draws the eye and enhances the flow between spaces, while the concealed door is designed to blend into the wall, creating a flush surface that maintains the clean, uninterrupted look. The wall paneling behind the sofa introduces a sense of order within the soft space, achieving a harmonious balance between rigidity and softness.
【Innovation and Challenges】
Curves are used to soften transitions, encourage movement and create a more fluid experience. They are thoughtfully integrated into entryway turns, wall edges, door frames, and ceilings, shaping a cohesive and harmonious design language throughout. By easing the rigidity of straight lines and the starkness of sharp forms, they introduce a gentle sense of flow.
