Dreaming of living in a castle

This is an eye-catching detached villa, impressive both in its architectural design and size. The exterior design of the villa is exquisite and elegant, with a reasonable scale. Especially the entrance with steps leading up and the circular staircase inside, which are unforgettable. As interior designers, we take this as a starting point and strive to create an indoor space full of charm and comfort. The floor plan scheme is one of the cores of the entire design. We have preserved the existing spiral staircase and made it the focal point of spatial vision, extending along an elegant arc to the first floor below ground. Such a design is not only beautiful, but also gives the entire space a better sense of hierarchy and fluidity. In terms of meeting the owner's functional requirements, we have designed three bedrooms, a dining kitchen, as well as an entertainment room and a gym for the villa. Designing these functional spaces for such a large villa is not difficult, but how to make the entire space orderly, organized, interconnected, and not appear too large and chaotic is a problem that we need to focus on in the design.
To solve this problem, we established such a design concept at the beginning of the design: let the structural elements such as beams, columns, stairs, doors and windows be the protagonist of the space, rather than stiff decorative shapes. By exposing the structural beams and columns and using slightly modified techniques, we make the space more natural and smooth, while also embodying the beauty of the structure and the beauty of the architecture. Such a design concept not only makes the entire space more comfortable and pleasant, but also fully demonstrates the inherent characteristics and advantages of the villa. In conclusion, the highlight of the design of this detached villa lies in preserving the original architectural beauty and creating a comfortable, organized, and interconnected indoor space through techniques such as reorganizing the space and modifying structural elements. Such a design concept not only reflects our deep understanding and unique insights into the space, but also makes the entire design scheme more feasible and operable.
