Yibin · Shu Nan Bamboo Sea National Tourism and Vacation Core Area Construction Project (Phase II of Junyue Mountain Garden Resort Hotel) is located in Zhushan Town, Changning District, Yibin City, Sichuan Province, covering an area of 56,54.7 ㎡. As the architectural, landscape, and interior design unit of the project, the team from L&A Group analyzed the characteristics of the site, extracted the genes of the southern Sichuan residential houses, outlined the ink-wash contours with the small grey tiles sloping roofs, and the design techniques of diverting water into courtyards and staggered layout, the traditional settlement texture was recreated, allowing the site to present the aesthetics of contradiction - among the terraces surrounded by bamboo forests and hills, traces of farming and wild swamps coexist, and the fragmented boundaries bear the dwelling philosophy of the people in Bamboo Sea " to bamboo and face the water", forming a primitive topological field where nature and humanity are interwoven.
The design aims to fully utilize the local attributes of Shu Nan Bamboo Sea, explore the bamboo culture and bamboo ecology, and create a new benchmark for vacation unique to Yibin, a place of habitation naturally growing in the bamboo sea. The facade is derived from the design language of bamboo weaving, with a unified thread in the hierarchical changes; the spatial quality emphasizes the poetic expression of pan-Oriental culture; through-impact treatment methods, the site is integrated with nature, and has a dialogue with the mountains, rivers and bamboo forests... The landscape design fully reflects the local natural features humanistic feelings, and integrates the geographical characteristics of Shu Nan Bamboo Sea, while using natural materials and traditional crafts to create a space in harmony with the surrounding environment, the strong local culture and rustic atmosphere. Junyu Mountain Villa is not only a resort, but also a space for people to return to nature and relax their minds. We hope to integrate natural landscapes with modern design, striving to provide tourists with comfortable and luxurious sensory experiences while retaining the local natural environment.

L&A Group focuses on the unique attributes of Yin Shuinan Bamboo Sea, with the vision to create a new landmark for Yibin leisure, and deeply explores the rich connotation of bamboo culture and bamboo ecology.
