XuZhou·SENBO FAIRY LAND
Project Description
Strategically situated within the Yunlong Lake Scenic Area and adjacent to the Kaiyuan Mingdu Grand Hotel (prime location with seamless connectivity), this non-motorized park draws design vocabulary from mountain, lake, and forest elements to establish a "Park + Resort Hotel" dual-core model, redefining hospitality through "parks as hotel traffic accelerators" that drive occupancy and visitation.
Design Innovations
1.1. Terrain-Driven Narrative
oA 7m elevation differential structures three layers:
Forest Dynamics: Go-kart tracks carved into natural slopes.
Slope Engagement: Interactive animal zones and rope networks.
Lakeside Leisure: Play clusters anchored by Senbo Plaza’s fountain.
2.2. Indoor-Outdoor Continuity
oA 6m "Fantasy Island Theme Tree" (non-motorized play structure) vertically links floors:
Ground Floor: Nature-immersion zones (role-play villages, ball pits).
Upper Floor: Tech-driven interaction spaces (VR, STEM labs).
oA unified natural motif blends hotel and park spaces through color gradients and light choreography.
o3. Family-Friendly Design
oParent co-play hubs with integrated safety sightlines foster "companionship play", prioritizing interactive family bonding over passive monitoring.
Operational Synergy
Peak Performance: 1,000+ daily visitors (July 2024) with CNY 50k+ revenue.
Occupancy Impact: 18 sold-out days/month (August 2024), elevating non-weekend bookings.
Demand Loop: Park activities drive hotel stays and F&B spending, while hotel guests reciprocally fuel park visitation, forming a self-reinforcing "Stay-Play-Dine" ecosystem.
Industry Innovation Value
Visual-Resource Bridging: Scenic sightlines (visual corridors) connect park areas to the 5A-rated natural landscape, enabling shared visitor flow between attractions.
Day-Night Integration: 13-hour operations (9 AM–10 PM) maximize dwell time, amplifying overnight stays.
As Northern Jiangsu’s pioneering 5-star hotel + non-motorized park + 5A scenic hub, it exemplifies "parks as hospitality catalysts", leveraging landscape-inspired design to convert transient stays into destination-driven experiences.
