Xi’an COFCO Cloud Garden
Project Description
The project emphasizes a progressive spatial experience through central symmetry, creating a ritualistic sense of arrival. The 6.6m cantilevered canopy and embracing curved walls at the entrance, along with central water features, offer a modern and elegant entryway with both luxury and warmth.
Shared Boundaries and Ecological Community
By incorporating shared boundaries and continuous landscape elements, the design blurs the line between the community and the city, promoting a philosophy of coexistence and shared spaces. The entrance plaza and pedestrian streets enhance the neighborhood’s commercial feel while fostering a lively, community-centered atmosphere. A 100-meter streetscape ensures flexibility for future landscaping.
Materials and Detail Handling
The project uses imported Cuban green stone with high-pressure water-wash finishes, exuding warmth and refined quality, paired with champagne metal accents. Three-dimensional curved aluminum panels and modular elements boost construction efficiency and sustainability.
Community Culture and Co-Living Philosophy
With multi-layered public spaces and innovative spatial articulation, the project fosters meaningful interaction among residents and reinforces connections between individuals and the community, promoting the "CO·life" philosophy: coexistence, sharing, empathy, and creation.
