Urban Park — HIMA’s Exhibition Booth at Auto China 2026

Project Description

Urban Park – A Future Living Prototype that Breathes, Invites Exploration and Resonates
At Auto China 2026, the HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) booth embraces the concept of “Urban Park” to create an emotionally engaging space that transcends conventional automotive display formats.
Departing from the typical product-centric booth that revolves around “car on view — spectator watching,” we try to transforms the stand into a walkable, perceptible and contemplative “Micro Future City.” Here, every visitor naturally discovers a brand philosophy rooted in the symbiosis of technology, ecology, and humanity through deep immersion.
1. Core Concept: Urban Translation from Eco-Connectivity to Spatial Prototype
The origin of the design is a fundamental rethinking of what an exhibition space can be. Confronted with the industry’s homogenized display formulas, we rejected the idea of the booth as an isolated product container and reshaped it into a vibrant “Urban Park Archetype” brimming with life.
In this vision, the “Urban Park” becomes a spatial translation of HIMA’s “Connectivity of Everything” ecosystem. Undulating topography guides exploratory journeys, meandering garden paths stitch together distinct functional zones, and rich, real plant communities form three-dimensional ecological layers. The entire space resembles a “Future Park” that has grown out of nature — turning intangible technological ideas into tangible, breathable physical experiences.
2. Spatial Narrative: Journey Through Five Realms, a Garden Woven of Stories
The five brands under HIMA — AITO, LUXEED, STELATO, MAEXTRO and SAIC — are not arranged in parallel rows. Instead, they are transformed into five “themed gardens,” each with its own distinctive atmosphere, distributed organically along the visitor flow.
The arrangement springs from the narrative concept of “Five Realms Forming a Garden.” Every brand is paired with a garden scene and a unique planting ambiance: from a tree-lined courtyard symbolizing stability and belonging, to an ornamental meadow expressing contemporary elegance; from a transparent light gallery embodying pioneering exploration, to a colorful flower valley bursting with youthful vitality; and finally culminating in MAEXTRO, which settles into a serene Zen garden rich with the poetic spirit of Eastern architecture. There are no hard boundaries between the five realms — as visitors wander, they glide imperceptibly from one setting to the next, perceiving the wholeness and harmony of the brand ecosystem within its diversity.
3. Cultural Dimension: A Contemporary Translation of Intangible Heritage Wisdom
The MAEXTRO zone, in particular, reveals the cultural depth of the design. We deliberately avoid the symbolic appropriation of traditional elements. Instead, we extract structural, material, and spatial logics from intangible cultural heritage — such as the clustered form of Fujian Tulou, the joinery intelligence of sunmao (mortise and tenon), and the rhythmic beauty of zaojing (caisson ceilings) — and re-articulate them into a simple, contemporary architectural language.
Here, there is no accumulation of visual Oriental motifs. Through spatial proportions, controlled light and shadow, and tactile materiality, the design cultivates an “Eastern aura” rich in ritual and spirituality. Visitors are able to immerse themselves in a sense of calm and reverence that emanates directly from the cultural core.
4. Experiential Climax: The “Singularity” Installation — A Resonance of Technology, Art and Sustainability
At the heart of the booth stands the “Singularity,” a cocoon-like installation whose form symbolises the critical threshold just before an intelligence explosion. Its interior becomes the emotional climax of the entire journey.
Beyond showcasing the new vehicle, the installation suspends an art piece inspired by nebulae. Crafted entirely from recyclable, biodegradable materials, it is translucent and weightless, floating like a suspended cloudscape of technology, with softly shifting hues responding to light. Stepping inside, visitors feel as though they have entered a “wormhole” detached from reality. In this resonance between art and technology, they can sense HIMA’s reflection on, and commitment to a sustainable future.
5. Design Vision: Rediscovering Perceptual Joy in the Park
The ultimate purpose of our design is not display, but experience and resonance. When the commercial atmosphere is softened by natural imagery and humanistic narratives, technology no longer feels cold and the space no longer noisy. Here, visitors can touch the veins of a leaf, feel the gradual shift of light and shadow, and listen to the murmurs woven between the digital and the natural.
Beneath a galaxy-like canopy, what people receive is not an information overload of technical specifications, but a joy of delight, discovery, and a return to authenticity. This confirms our fundamental proposition: true future mobile living should be ecological, intelligent, filled with human warmth, and always measured by “human delight.”
Conclusion
Urban Park is not merely a booth design; it is a manifesto on how technology can be woven into daily life and how design can awaken the senses. It proves to the world that, even within the commercial context of an auto show, we can still create a space where people pause, explore, reflect and feel genuine delight — and this is precisely the answer HIMA wishes to deliver to the future.
