Returning Island
Project Description
The owner of this work is a travel blogger who has been living abroad for a long time. Returning home gives him a sense of security and a sense of belonging, but also has a very relaxed private space.
We did not define the style too much, according to the needs of the owners to do the whole space transformation, the living room study area did a neat integration, 3.2 meters of cantilever desk to connect the study and the living room in the form.
The restaurant and the porch area have also made the overall optimization on the design. In the master bedroom area, according to the preferences of the owner, the suite area is divided into independent toilet, cloakroom, tatami rice bed and small table.
Micro cement, wood, matte brick and matte stainless steel plate are used in the material selection of the whole work. The combination of several materials brings a unique sense of atmosphere to the space under the background of light and shadow.
After graduating from university in 2015, I worked in the teacher's own company for many years, responsible for the design work of many projects and the on-site connection work. In this process, I learned how to communicate with customers, understand their needs, and translate them into creative and practical design solutions. I also learned how to collaborate in a team, to cooperate with other designers and site leaders, to complete the project together, and to put the work to the ground.
In 2022, I founded my own studio with several partners who also do interior design. The name of' " Tingwu Design " is chosen in English (teamwork team cooperation), and combined with the name of the fog capital in Chongqing. We focus on pure design, adhering to the practice of a case, for each owner design worth looking forward to the home.
In my spare time, I also like traveling and watching movies. I like to find beauty in traveling. When I go out for a walk, I can also learn the good designs done by others to make up for my shortcomings. To feel and learn the culture and characteristics of every place. Transform what you see and feel into your design.
