Palpatine’s Sword

by LING YUE DESIGN

Project Description

Palpatine's Sword embodies the core concept of "Urban Naturalism." Through a cohesive, integrated design infused with natural elements, it crafts a living space that harmonizes functionality with artistic sensibility, reflecting the profound symbiosis of "human, space, and environment" essential to modern architecture.
Breaking the boundaries of traditional zoning, the project seamlessly connects the living room, dining area, and even the bedroom with a fluid circulation, enhancing the continuity of daily life. Meanwhile, the transition between the private bedroom area and the public zone is elegantly defined by a curved corridor, efficiently distinguishing shared and intimate spaces.
The living room features a statement backdrop of "Peacock Feather" luxury stone that serves as a living art installation with its organic veining, while fostering a tactile dialogue with black walnut flooring. In the bedroom, smoked wood paneling contrasts poetically with the veined marble headboard platform, cultivating a meditative sleep sanctuary. Across both spaces, floor-to-ceiling glazing dissolves boundaries, strategically framing urban vistas and natural light. This transforms the interior into a transitional vessel between metropolis and nature, elevating both visual delight and psychological comfort for the residents.
The dining area utilizes a pendant light and a circular marble table to create a composition symbolizing the concept of "round sky and square earth". This design extends the narrative of material juxtaposition, where understated luxury whispers through the language of timeless Eastern philosophy.
