Born in Nagoya in 1973. After graduating from Musashino Art University, he worked for Super Potato as the main designer for 15 years and established NAO Taniyama & Associates in 2011. Worked on projects for luxury hotels, restaurants, and residences in Japan and abroad, approaching design from multiple perspectives without being bound by specific contexts such as Classicism or Modernism, and pursuing designs that universally move people's emotions.
