LUX CLINIC PROJECT
Project Description
LUX CLINIC is an aesthetic medical clinic located in Ginza, Tokyo. This project was designed to combine the highest standards of medical functionality and safety with a luxurious environment that nurtures both emotional comfort and personal well-being.
People who visit aesthetic clinics are not simply seeking treatment. They arrive with aspirations—to enhance their appearance, build confidence, and discover a renewed version of themselves. Inspired by this emotional journey, we envisioned the entire clinic as a gateway to a new self.
The design concept, “Luxury as Healing,” redefines luxury beyond decoration and opulence. Here, luxury becomes a healing experience—one that offers reassurance, emotional ease, and a sense of positive transformation.
A defining feature of the project is the arch motif derived from the clinic’s brand identity. Symbolizing a doorway to new possibilities and personal transformation, the arch serves as a unifying design language throughout the space. Rather than remaining a graphic element within the logo, it has been translated into architecture through the reception’s triple-arch feature wall, spatial compositions, and interior detailing, creating a seamless integration between brand and environment.
The reception area serves as the visual centerpiece of the clinic. Marble-inspired arch panels and carefully layered indirect lighting establish a refined and welcoming first impression. Throughout the interior, a palette of soft cream beige, champagne gold, and brass accents creates an atmosphere of elegance and sophistication befitting Ginza, one of Tokyo’s most prestigious districts.
The lounge was designed to evoke the comfort and exclusivity of a luxury hotel, helping visitors feel relaxed from the moment they arrive. Consultation rooms, treatment rooms, and operating suites prioritize functionality, hygiene, and efficiency while maintaining a consistent material and lighting language that reinforces the overall brand experience.
LUX CLINIC reinterprets the aesthetic medical clinic as more than a place for treatment. It is a sanctuary where individuals can reconnect with themselves, embrace positive change, and take the first step toward a new future. The space was designed to become both a gateway to beauty and a doorway to a new self.
