Forest Isle

Inspired by the concept of "nature," this aesthetic clinic embraces a minimalist design approach. By minimizing layers and reducing intricate lines, the space exudes tranquility and clarity, mirroring the purity and harmony found in natural environments. Natural elements evoke a sense of freshness and relaxation, reminiscent of a tranquil forest, where calmness and serenity flow effortlessly through every corner. Deep brown wood veneers, lattices, and gray finishes create an atmosphere akin to a cavern in the forest. Gentle curves replace sharp edges, subtly infusing the space with a sense of rejuvenation and purity. The right amount of metallic accents emits a gentle, diffused glow that envelops the environment in warmth.
Given the original building’s aging and structural issues, safety took precedence in the design plan. Aging walls are dismantled to ensure stability, while the layout is thoughtfully restructured to optimize functionality and flow. The space is revitalized with sustainable and eco-friendly building materials, breathing new life into the environment while eliminating harmful emissions.
Earthy tones create a soothing contrast against the neon cityscape, instantly calming the environment and evoking a sense of belonging. The curved reception desk and seating area form a circular flow, like a warm embrace that softens the coldness associated with a clinic. Sunlight filters through the sheer curtains and an ornate lattice panel, casting intricate shadows that evoke the essence of an untamed forest, infusing the space with natural vitality. To optimize the functionality and layout of the treatment areas, the corridor width is slightly reduced, making the most of the available space while ensuring a smooth flow. Due to the limited ceiling height, skirting lights cast a subtle glow, much like a faint glimpse of light inside a cave, infusing the space with a sense of intrigue. An art installation subtly draws attention, adding an air of mystery and enhancing the immersive experience in the hallway. The restroom continues with simplicity, featuring gray walls and a stone accent wall that breathes life into the space. Every glance unveils a dynamic scene.
Unlike the luxurious and refined aesthetic found in most aesthetic clinics, this space embraces the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi — finding beauty and charm in imperfection. The plastered walls, crafted by hand, reflect an unpretentious elegance. Simple elements, along with curves and lines, create a serene and harmonious environment that celebrates the uncluttered, humble Japanese aesthetics while honoring the professionalism of the clinic.
