Cloud Abode Healing
Project Description
Tradition and modernity, local and international, old and new, should be integrated and balanced, and form an organic whole. engaging in design, designer Huang Huan has been committed to promoting the "Five Senses Life", conveying the essence of beauty, nature and purity; through color,, decoration and other means to revitalize space and people. Time stretches memories, and memories differentiate time; especially the pandemic, which makes time and memories seem to stop but to pass quickly. Life breeds emotions, and emotions will also feedback into life. The appearance of Yunzhu Healing Project is not sudden, but timely, and it is also theanother kind of living space" created by designer Huang Huan for the current urbanites, for himself, and for the public. Healing is not avoidance, not, but to meet, to have time, to find another self. The project hopes to convey a completely new healing lifestyle, with the heavy years of the century-old hospital cl with the contemporary design language, architecture and design will not speak, but when you wander among them, what you see, hear, touch and taste, seems to open the button of story of the past and the present. "Going to the mountains, the process of going forward and going up, not only gets closer to nature, but also gets to oneself." Huang Huan believes that the world is not fragmented, but divided into small pieces, and each group of people may be accustomed to a certain environment, the purpose of design renewal is also to hope to break the inherent pattern, to let everyone truly understand the products of time, and to discover the energy of resonance from the old.
Yunzhu Healing Homestay is located in Berlin Village, Zunyi Mountain, Chongqing, a village with a-year history, facing the lake and backed by the mountains, quiet and remote. It is also a rural revitalization plan. Based on this, Huang Huang paid great to the history and unique customs of old buildings and the emotional connection between old and new in the process of transformation and design, and embraced the viewer with "fashionable local sentiment, allowing people to actively step in, perceive life, and perceive the occurrence of beauty. "It is very rare to preserve the rammed earth wall intact in the south region (in Chongqing). It is not only a source of inspiration for architectural design but also a carrier of past memories. Perhaps we cannot reenact or completely a certain era/time, but we hope that the preservation of ancient architecture can give urbanites more imagination about the years." Thus, among the wild fields and within the ram earth walls, Huang Huang created a space that combines fashionable modernity with natural simplicity, taking from the local area and close to nature, for healing and growth. unzhu Healing Homestay, named after "Zunyi Mountain", means to be relaxed and at ease, to blend into the air and maintain one's own breath With the texture impression of the rammed earth wall leading the viewer in, the original wood, vintage furniture, green plants, and lamps are all revealed in the space, meeting the people's pursuit and fantasy of the integration of "aesthetic" and "natural". "The four guest rooms have their own names and magic. We hope that residents stay in the space they like, open all their senses, and feel the power of tranquility. Starting from humanistic care and physical perception, each room is equipped with a new system, air conditioning floor heating, effectively solving the problems of hot summer and cold and humid winter in the mountain city."
As the name implies, the interior layout and decoration are almost made of old wood. The wood, with its color, scent, engraved texture, exudes a rich, pure, and steady energy, enveloping people. The original structure is retained, and a loft is built in the century- courtyard, with a large bed upstairs and downstairs. The design uses dark wood veneer for the walls, carefully selected vintage furniture (including retro furniture collected by the designer for many), fashionable pieces from Chinese original furniture brands, complemented by authentic paper lamps by Isamu Noguchi and & Tradition. Leather, wood, paper decor and changing geometry, "local and foreign" mix and match to enrich the emotional experience. Turn on the record player, and the space is filled with the fragrance of Italian eb incense, with people and things jumping in it, telling a story. Surrounded by bamboo forests, the design starts from the old name "Bamboo Forest Dam" and inputs elements related to bamboo - bamboo bookshelves, bamboo sofas, bamboo side tables, and a custom-made velvet bed with bamboo green, with fresh bamboo as. Paired with the local brand Zhiyin, the interplay of light and shadow is like the morning dew, and the breath of natural soil. The interior a high ceiling condition, and the construction of wooden beams enriches the sense of hierarchy of the space; large horizontal windows better introduce outdoor scenery, while ensuring privacy; this room has an outdoor courtyard, between motion and stillness, this is the best time, attracting people to immerse themselves. Romantic, light, comfortable, quiet and, such as the name of this guest room. The design uses a large area of white and original wood to neutralize the skin texture of the earthen wall, and inputs light lotus pink to increase the brightness of the space, sweeping away the original dark sound. The original small window has become a natural decoration, unique and artistic
Furniture is also simple and elegant, with natural solid wood cabinets, white cloud sofas created by Chinese original furniture designer Zhoubin, custom-made beige soft leather beds, long benches piled with pillows, and white xuan paper pendant lights from Denmark, all clean and fresh. The soft and artistic wall paint make it feel as if the residents are really living in the clouds, dancing gracefully and singing leisurely. The bathroom ceiling is specially designed with a curtain ceiling, mainly white, transparent and atmospheric. As the largest room with both mountains and lakes, it enjoys a high level of exclusivity. The living room, bedroom and bathroom (with a wooden Japanese bathtub) are independent of each other, and there is a versatile tatami tea room (which can also be turned into a small guest bedroom. To allow the senses to return to their essence with the environment, the design uses a restrained and retreating approach to create a balance between rural charm and modernization; disc complexity, reducing color, white and wood interweave into a tranquil and lazy calmness away from the hustle and bustle. The details lie in the determination the window design, enhancing the interaction between people and space, and with nature. A variety of imported furniture from Denmark and Japan enhance quality and delicacy; different shapes of x paper lamps, in dialogue with the light and shadow outside the window, form a unique scene, adding ingenious agility. Designer Huang Huang has always emphasized echo of the five senses in space. In addition to the integration and collision of traditional architecture and modern lifestyle, it is also reflected in the creation of a comprehensive environment. "D lifestyles can also be enjoyed in the same environment. We hope that people who come here can really integrate into the local area, from living to eating to traveling, and let their spirit body shuttle through the Berlin together."
【Local Coffee Earth Kiln Roasted Bread】is another way Huang Huang brings to people to see and the world. The eye-catching rammed earth entrance and the distinct down-to-earth name "Earth" are both surprising and full of surprises. "The elements of old rural house with earthen walls, wooden beams, and tiled roofs bring a relaxing atmosphere that hits you right away; we are building a coffee shop here, and a bridge connecting the old and the new. Tasting the flavor of coffee in the countryside? The taste of the countryside fields while sipping coffee? It's contradictory and yet exists logically, just like we stand on the land, watching seeds sprout from the soil, and we hope to let more people understand the places and beauty that may be overlooked through, and also hope that we ourselves can grow more full and rich here." The coffee shop used to be a farmhouse where villagers raised chickens and ducks. Huangang retained the original rammed earth walls and spent more than five months renovating the rest of the place. Transparent tiles were added to the roof to let the sun shine in the doors and windows were made to add magic to the small space; authentic vintage furniture and other modern elements were introduced to fully demonstrate the unique charm of "Chinese and Western integration" The huge round chandelier and the original brass texture floor lamp from FLOS enhance the atmosphere of the space while increasing the visual contrast. And the handmade clay oven roasted bread to it also allows for a deeper experience of the brand new healing lifestyle. The interior of the coffee shop is mainly divided into two areas: coffee kitchen. The collision deep and light colors is like a painting full of story, showing Huang Huang's capture of the "five senses" from the details. Guests can drink coffee and read here, or even experience making coffee or cooking by themselves to feel the relaxation of being at home. The public area of the courtyard is also equipped with a tea room, studio, study class and many other functional areas. Living and eating is a way, meditating and taking classes is also a way; or fishing, reading, daydreaming here.. In the modern convenient and simple friendly atmosphere, let go of the fatigue, and enjoy the breeze and clouds. Of course, there is more than one way of, and healing is just a theme. Measure the humanistic scenery step by step, walk into the pulse of time, find the point that touches oneself, gain energy, and then to move towards one's own mountain. This is also the core interpretation of the brand new healing theme concept by designer Huang Huang.
