Bella Hora

by Minimal Studio

Project Description

Bella Hora is born from a clear intention: to transform an industrial space into a wellness experience shaped through architecture.
The project originates from an existing structure, defined by its honest construction and bold scale. Rather than concealing its character, we chose to tension it. To introduce an organic language within a rigid container. The soft versus the structural. The human versus the mechanical.
The intervention does not add; it reinterprets.
Orthogonality gradually dissolves, and surfaces begin to curve, generating a continuous architecture that eliminates visual and spatial friction. The journey is not fragmented into isolated rooms, but conceived as a fluid sequence where each transition is smooth, almost intuitive.
Beneath the industrial roof, a branching structure emerges, occupying the void with a natural logic. This gesture does not seek formal protagonism, but rather to alter the perception of scale and construct an enveloping atmosphere. Architecture ceases to be a boundary and becomes an interior landscape.
Light is integrated as a material. It does not impose itself, but instead shapes the curves, softens the edges, and stabilizes the environment. Indirect lighting reinforces spatial continuity and reduces contrast, generating a sustained sense of calm even during moments of intense physical activity.
Materiality responds to a strict discipline. A restrained palette of sand and ivory tones. Continuous surfaces. Natural wood that brings warmth. Brushed brass that introduces precision. Each decision removes noise and concentrates the experience.
To reduce in order to intensify.
Bella Hora is not conceived as a sports facility, but as an environment where body and space engage in dialogue. Strength finds softness. Energy coexists with restraint. Movement unfolds within an architecture that does not compete for attention, but amplifies the presence of those who inhabit it.
At Minimal Studio, we understand wellness as a spatial matter. Designing not only for the body to activate, but for the mind to slow down. Creating a balance between tension and calm. Between discipline and pleasure.
Bella Hora does not measure performance alone.
It measures the quality of time.
And when time is designed with precision, wellness ceases to be a concept and becomes architecture.

Before founding Minimal Studio, he gained experience in various architecture firms, contributing to both residential and commercial projects. His work has been internationally recognized with multiple awards across Europe and Asia.
His approach is based on material honesty, formal precision, and the creation of spaces and objects that transcend trends, embracing a timeless aesthetic.
Minimal Studio is a multidisciplinary studio based in Mallorca, specializing in architecture, interior design, product design, and construction management. The studio operates from an integrated vision of space, where concept, execution, and materiality are developed in a coherent and unified manner.
Its approach is rooted in the principles of minimalism: simplicity, functionality, and formal precision. Each project is conceived as a unique response, tailored to its context, client, and purpose, with special attention to detail, natural light, and the honest use of materials.
The studio primarily operates in Mallorca, Ibiza, Barcelona, and Marbella, and is currently developing international projects in destinations such as Bali and Dubai.
