AUTOMOTION
Project Description
A project for a showroom specialising in the display and sale of luxury cars.
The exhibition space is framed by a circular structure, with irregularly shaped ceiling panels of varying heights rising from the floor, creating the impression that the ceiling is floating.
Indirect lighting is incorporated into the gaps between the panels. Facilities such as meeting rooms, offices and toilets are arranged around the perimeter of the circular exhibition space.
The high ceilings and spacious interior have been meticulously designed with a rational layout.
Particularly noteworthy is the unique design of the ceiling. The ceiling is divided into two levels of varying heights. The higher section is composed of multiple thin, sliced panels, creating a sense of floating.
Indirect lighting filters through the panel joints, creating a fantastical ceiling effect that serves as the highlight of this space.
Indirect lighting is also installed in various other areas, effectively enhancing the space.
Although the exhibition space and the meeting room are separated by glass, they are seamlessly connected. As the vehicles on display are visible from the meeting room, visitors are constantly aware of their presence.
To ensure privacy, the lighting in the meeting room has been designed to be as subdued as possible. In addition to this meeting room, another meeting room is available for use depending on the situation.
The space has been designed to present the products in an attractive manner and to stimulate customers’ desire to purchase.
