Project Description

This project is located in Jiangning District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, near the large comprehensive transportation hub area of Nanjing South Station. This time, we will inject more imagination and practice into the city in a new form and concept, and build the core TOD center of the South Station. We plan to create a "city reception hall" that deeply connects the city, life, and people, forming the first facade for Nanjing South Exit.
In 1928, Mies proposed the aesthetic concept of "less is more". This concise aesthetic expression helped extend the construction of modern solid spaces, making hard spaces display a light, free, and flexible flowing posture. The space utilizes this minimalist aesthetic concept, constructed with simple and sharp lines. In terms of spatial shaping, we have adopted the intersecting form of the South Station hub, and the large blocks and details of the space are often shaped in an interlaced manner.
In the space, we mainly use off white stone to build the overall tranquil atmosphere, and then use Prada green and Bulgari black luxury stones to create a sense of ceremony in the space. Paired with metal materials and copper rust plates, we enhance the style of the space. The independent elevated space in the sand table area, coupled with soft chandeliers and metal mesh, echoes the light and shadow, creating ripples and ripples. We extract the most beautiful traces of nature and time from the space.
Combining contemporary culture with traditional aesthetics, extracting hotel design elements and simplifying and enriching them, emphasizing the balance and harmony of color tones, and shaping a calm and luxurious experience.
