Project Description

In the design, we first struck out the keywords "homogenization" and "following the trend." Catering to fads or superficial aesthetics is always but an empty husk. What we truly desire is an interior that is warm, personalized, and profound.
The owner of this case has a son in junior high school, and they are a family of three who reside there, valuing a high-quality lifestyle. With the goal of promoting an ideal way of living, the designer integrated interconnected areas, optimized the adjacent spaces and their layout, and created a human-centered circulation path that allows residents to experience a relaxed sense of dwelling where "every step offers a reward and every pause serves a purpose."
Customer needs/
This is a phase one turnkey project, and the homeowner has provided the following expectations:
The overall space should present a spacious and bright feeling;
The bathroom should be designed with a three-separation layout to save time and effort when cleaning;
The laundry room should be adjacent to the shower area for convenient cleaning after changing clothes;
The walk-in closet should be large enough to meet future clothing storage needs.
Functional design/
Based on the needs and expectations for life, we anticipate the ultimate living scenarios and immerse ourselves in the spatial experience from a first-person perspective. By employing techniques such as shortening, extending, dividing, enclosing, and relocating, we refine each functional area, allowing public and private spaces to be distributed in a block-like manner, tailored to the homeowner's lifestyle.
Extend the sofa background wall and move the entrance to the laundry room to the right, allowing it to share a sliding door with the kitchen. This not only meets the kitchen's need to block oil fumes but also enhances the spatial sense of the living room.
Divide the original guest bathroom into a toilet area and a shower area, and design the part near the bay window as a sink area, fulfilling the homeowner's expectation of a three-way separation.
Integrate the laundry function with custom-made top-to-bottom cabinets, emphasizing the beauty of simplicity and providing convenient services.
Create a storage structure, extend the partition wall between the bedrooms, plan a new bedroom entrance, and expand the master bedroom's sink area and the storage space in the secondary bedroom.
Divide the balcony into two halves based on the extension direction of the original partition wall, expanding the area of the walk-in closet and the reading area in the secondary bedroom. Visual design/
· A suspended structure introduces a sense of breathability to the entrance, with concave-convex shaping that reconfigures the tension of light and shadow, narrating a story that is both rational and emotional.
 · Exploring the intensity of a frontal, level gaze versus a sidelong, lyrical perspective, paired with a refreshing painting, showcases the style of natural art and offers a greater sense of relaxation to those returning home.
Living Room/
· Design must possess a function that allows for natural transitions and flow between spaces. If we sever the connection between the interior and exterior, we will only find ourselves aimlessly "wandering" in the so-called modern urban world.
· The ceiling maintains a minimalist appearance, allowing natural light and pure hues to connect the living room and dining area, highlighting a spacious and open atmosphere.
· The visual focus of the living room is anchored by the grounding sense of black and the lightweight feel of white, creating an elegant yet versatile atmosphere.
· Several pots of greenery nestled between the TV background wall and the balcony breathe life into the public area, adding a touch of comfort. The leisurely bar, benefiting from the softness of the curves and the floating scene effect, exudes a romantic ambiance.
· The camera shifts from the balcony to the seating area, where the lingering romance accentuates the stability of the forms, the elegance of the textures, the warmth of the tones, and the fineness of the craftsmanship, making each narrative element come alive, inviting conversations, sharing of emotions, and companionship.
· As the gaze extends further back, the preface created by the glass bricks lays a solid aesthetic foundation for the transition between the living room and the laundry room, guiding one to perceive the vitality of the spatial
· When the sliding door conceals the kitchen, the dining area seems like a secluded realm, showcasing layered arrangements and narrating tales of poetry and natural forces, instantly resetting one's mood to a state of peace and tranquility.
 · "The essence of life is to live in this world with enthusiasm and interest."
Kitchen/
· As the domain for creating and sharing culinary delights, the kitchen adheres to the principle of practicality, with a well-planned workflow. In addition to selecting high-quality materials, it incorporates natural textures and fresh colors, echoing the natural essence of the home.
· Allowing the influx of air, sunlight, and the hues of nature to mark every stage of life, the story of living becomes vibrant and colorful.
Bathroom/
· The frosted gray glass creates a unified facade, thoughtfully addressing privacy needs. The washbasin area is infused with a refreshing green hue, purifying the atmosphere and extending the consistent language that flows both inside and outside, enveloping every corner with a sense of home.
· The laundry room, positioned opposite the common bathroom, adopts a restrained visual presentation, emphasizing functional guidance for clear and immediate understanding.
· The sleeping area is a sanctuary where the body repairs and the mind unwinds. This private haven is like a "timely rain" for home life, rejuvenating one's spiritual outlook.
· The master bathroom continues the Zen-like atmosphere of the sleeping area, composed of wood tones and foliage, consistently helping to dispel worries and enjoy every moment of tranquility. The window, with its boundless light, "pauses" time, allowing one to focus more on the joy of bathing.
· We don't need to overthink; just experience, use, even "disrupt," and then new possibilities will spontaneously emerge. The beauty in its natural state can no longer be hidden. When and how we sleep become so free and unrestrained.
