Twin Oaks 1617 W Residence

by WO GIANT INTERIOR DECORATION INDUSTY Limited Company

Project Description

The project is located directly across from an expansive 8.86-hectare forest park, offering an exceptional natural view. The design concept centers on“seamlessly connecting the interior and exterior, integrating nature into everyday life,”aiming to dissolve the boundaries between architecture and its surroundings. This allows residents to experience the changing seasons and be constantly surrounded by greenery.
With the property delivered as a bare shell, it provides maximum flexibility for interior design, giving designers the freedom to reimagine spatial relationships and redefine how living spaces engage with nature. Through thoughtful window placement, spatial flow, and material selection, the forest landscape is artfully drawn into the interior. The result is a living environment where views, light, and air move freely, creating a tranquil and layered experience.
The core concept of this project is“understated luxury and refined detail.” A palette of rich wood tones, stone textures, and metallic finishes creates a serene and grounded interior atmosphere. Emphasizing visual direction and framed views, the design uses clean, precise lines to craft a foreground that captures the expansive 8-hectare forest park outside, transforming nature into a living artwork within the home.
Introducing the concept of “space as exhibition”the design incorporates wall lighting, display shelving, and a curated wine cellar to turn daily living into a stage for personal aesthetic expression—blending functionality with artistry. The landscape-oriented spatial language invites residents to connect deeply with nature from the calm and composed interior atmosphere.
The layout integrates an open-plan living and dining area with an art-grade wine cellar. Unified vertical surfaces and modular storage systems enhance spatial clarity and cohesion. Lighting design layers indirect illumination, vertical strips, and accent lighting to shape a gallery-like spatial experience rich in depth and contrast.
The market distinction of this project lies in its user-centric approach to lifestyle aesthetics, a systematic spatial integration strategy, and the long-term flexibility of modular design. Moving away from ostentatious luxury, it redefines the modern residence as a harmonious blend of taste, functionality, and connection with nature.
This project was completed under a tight construction timeline, demanding an exceptionally high level of craftsmanship and precision throughout. The design incorporates a complex layering of materials—including metalwork, carpentry, tiling, and specialty finishes—requiring meticulous coordination between trades to achieve seamless integration in both form and function.
Metal structures, in particular, serve both structural and aesthetic roles. Their detailing is crucial, with every joint and connection point carefully engineered to align with adjoining materials. This necessitated ongoing collaboration, mock-ups, and on-site adjustments to refine the execution. Every phase of the construction was interdependent, reflecting the team’s ability to maintain precision and design integrity under schedule constraints.
The interior design of this project strikes a thoughtful balance between aesthetics and sustainability. High-quality engineered materials are used in place of natural stone and solid wood, reducing the depletion of natural resources while offering greater durability and ease of maintenance.
Energy-efficient lighting systems and high-performance HVAC solutions are integrated into the space, employing smart controls and optimized zoning to minimize energy consumption. This approach creates a low-energy, health-conscious living environment that aligns with the lifestyle demands of modern residents.
From material selection to system integration, every detail reflects a commitment to sustainability, long-term durability, and occupant well-being.
