Subtle Cures in Orange Tones
Project Description
An open-concept layout connects the living room, dining room, and seating nook with a clear flow delineating the spatial structure both vertically and horizontally. Transparent glass provides optimal transparency, allowing natural light to flood the living spaces and creating an airy and expansive atmosphere. A warm orange palette anchors the space, elegantly softened by dark green and cool white, while subtle metallic accents lend an air of sophistication. Curved forms sweep through ceiling corners and arches, softening rigid lines and guiding the eye with a soothing, rhythmic grace.
At the entrance, the ceiling and wall are finished with the tawny mirror and a hidden door to reduce the sense of the storage room and restroom. The TV wall incorporates a hidden door, continuing the streamlined design. A graceful curve connects to the window-side seating nook that invites rest and reflection. Storage cabinets are discreetly integrated, presenting a clean and minimalist facade. Adjacent to the seating nook, a bifold door offers versatility — opening wide to create a sense of openness and flow, or fully shut to provide intimacy and privacy.
A half-high kitchen island subtly delineates the dining room and kitchen, defining the space while preserving visual continuity. Curves in the backsplash and bedroom doorframe echo one another, with consistent color expressing a sense of balance through nuanced detailing. The secondary bedroom features fluted glass, striking a balance between transparency and privacy. In the master bedroom, the warm orange palette continues to unfold a tranquil and cozy atmosphere.
