■Profile
Born in Tokyo in 1960, graduated from Musashino Art University's Department of Architecture in 1984, and joined Nomura Co., Ltd .He has worked on the award-winning restaurant, guest rooms, and common areas of THE HOTEL SEIRYU KYOTO SHIMIZU, THE AOYAMA GRAND HOTEL, the main dining room of Mandarin Oriental Tokyo, the environmental design of the Shin-Marunouchi Building, the Sakura Lounge (JAL international flights at Haneda Airport), and the design of the hotel's new building, the AOYAMA GRAND HOTEL.W Guangzhou FEI (Guangzhou, China), which won a total of eight awards and nine titles. He is the first Japanese to win the "Best Bar" award in the bar category. He has designed many high-profile restaurants, hotels, and residences in Japan and abroad, and is currently expanding his activities beyond interiors to include architecture and design of private residences.
