Realm of Gray Reflections

This residence is conceived around the design narrative of “reflective stillness” and “spatial transparency”, drawing from the essence of contemporary minimalism. Through mirrored surfaces and an open-plan layout, spatial boundaries are blurred, creating a sense of continuity and openness. A gray-toned palette forms the foundation, layered with raw finishes and the grand marble. Thoughtful use of negative space and warm timber accents further shapes a living environment that feels both restrained and richly atmospheric.
The living room is anchored by a statement stone-clad TV wall. The reflective gray mirror panels visually extend the visual depth and amplify the perception of space. Cabinets are composed through an interplay of open shelving and concealed storage, achieving a balance between aesthetics and functionality. Behind the sofa, hand-applied plaster introduces an organic feel that lends warmth and a sense of human touch to the space. In contrast to the refined elegance of marble, the materials unfold a dialogue between matte and reflective surfaces.
The consistent finish of laminates on the bedroom door gives a cohesive look, allowing the palette to transition seamlessly into the dining area. Built-in dining cabinetry is designed flush with the walls, minimizing visual bulk and preserving the purity and clarity. A fluted glass sliding door subtly defines the kitchen. It allows natural light to enter while softly obscuring visual clutter within. Through a thoughtful reduction, the design achieves balance and harmony.
