Private Residence by Yueshan Lake, Guiyang

This project is a side unit of the three-lake townhouse in D District of Guiyang Yueshan Lake (the specific house number cannot be disclosed). The total area is 860 square meters. The original building has four floors, with separate access for pedestrians and vehicles, and an independent courtyard. The ground floor of the basement has a height difference, and the ground beam structure is relatively complex. There is a significant height difference between the main part and the added part of the basement floor. The lighting and ventilation of the basement floor are not good. There is a municipal sewage pipe 2.6 meters below the basement floor.
There are four permanent residents: the male owner, the female owner, and two boys, all of whom are in primary school. They attach great importance to their children's education and family relationships. The basement floor of the villa is used for receiving guests, while the upper floors are used as the living and activity areas for the family. The reception and living areas are separated.
Design Concept:
〖 Seeking Light in the Secret Realm 〗
At a depth of 3.5 meters underground, this is a place that evokes a sense of mystery. When surrounded on all sides, light and air pour down through the openings in the ceiling, as if one were in a canyon. A sense of mystery and nature will envelop the heart, bringing inner peace and awe.
The existing structure and requirements both demand that we seek breakthroughs. Seeking light is also about breaking through the mental barriers to reveal scenes that have never been seen before.
Design Keywords: Nature (Combining the inside and outside of the space, introducing nature, and creating nature), Self-sufficiency (Most of the happiness people feel is spiritual satisfaction. Family members care more about inner growth), Confidence (From the inside out, from small to large, everything is carefully planned and prepared, so as to remain calm and composed, and face things with ease)
