Nest South Branch Smart Homestay

Project Description

Our Vision for Chaonan Branch
Not a temporary resting place, nor a commercial marketplace, but a sanctuary for every weary soul on the move—a pure land amidst the bustling city. It carries countless dreams and aspirations, embodying forward-thinking innovation, exploring future lifestyles, and leading the development of the homestay industry.
Design Philosophy – Art & Space
The infusion of art and culture brings elegance and depth to the space. Aesthetic integration binds space and art together, enhancing their connection and imbuing the space with soul. Hidden within the urban landscape, nestled among lush trees, temptations and desires settle here, returning to the essence of a spiritual retreat—a place to reflect and seek truth.
"We aim to create a modern, vibrant, and poetic aerial garden, one that is filled with hope and focuses on humanistic values and living experiences." Thus, in the design, light, water, air, and greenery—nature’s creations—serve as boundless inspiration and a bridge for conveying immersive experiences.
Through contemporary, artistic, and cutting-edge design techniques, combined with open woodlands and native plants, we maximize greenery to craft an urban resort-style homestay environment surrounded by nature.
Architectural Exterior Design
Perhaps because it is so rare to find, this place is close to the city, close to nature, and close to culture. The architectural exterior draws from Lingnan architecture’s pursuit of artistic conception, where design intent takes precedence. Every detail reflects the charm and spirit of Lingnan, with interwoven and staggered spaces that make beauty both elusive and ever-present. It blends tradition and modernity, using design as a gateway to decode contemporary humanistic aesthetics and spread the values of Eastern beauty.
Reception Lobby
In designing the lobby, the Nanyue Bang design team adheres to the principle of "capturing regional heritage, shaping spatial form." Inspired by the intricate aesthetics of Lingnan architecture, they use the power of modern artistic language to depict cultural heritage, welcoming guests from all directions with utmost sincerity and craftsmanship.
Lobby Tea Room
The tea and lounge area follows the concept of "using stones from other mountains to shape Lingnan’s charm." The space is adorned with clean, bold lines, incorporating natural elements such as pine, stone, ancient trees, dry landscapes, and greenery to create a meditative Zen atmosphere.
Hotel Corridors
The corridors are designed with simple colors and clean lines to craft a quiet, introspective, and comfortable spatial experience. Nature is filled with a calming beauty and power—hidden in the wild, expressed through art, and preserved in the heart. Here, they collide in space, presenting a light and fluid natural-cultural ambiance.
Guest Room Design – Harmony
The design achieves consistency, striking a perfect balance between tradition and modernity, luxury and comfort. With minimalist lines, materials, and refined details, it blends enduring modern style with nature.
Garden Terrace – By the Water, Scent the Fragrance
"Before hearing the water, its essence arises; before entering the pool, the mountains and seas stretch boundlessly." The restaurant overlooks the waterscape and the courtyard garden, where an artistic staircase installation reshapes the rippling essence of water, distilling the pure and serene charm of Lingnan’s riverside towns.
