KOAKUMA BIKE MOUNT
Project Description
The KOAKUMA BIKE MOUNT is engineered based on users' needs for stability, efficiency, and reliability in riding scenarios, reimaging the connection between the phone and the vehicle. This mount features a split design where a magnetic backplate and a locking base work in tandem, revolutionizing traditional direct-clamp bike mounts. This design transforms the phone from a passively carried object into an active component within the connection system.
This mount cleverly integrates magnetic alignment and mechanical locking for intuitive interaction. When the magnetic backplate and the locking base approach each other, built-in magnetic components enable rapid attachment and precise alignment. A natural rotation by the user then triggers the internal latch mechanism to complete the mechanical lock, accompanied by a clear "click" sound. This provides users with an intuitive operational path and unmistakable feedback, making installation easy and clear.
Regarding functions, the magnetic backplate, compatible with universal magnetic wireless charging standards, ensures uninterrupted phone charging even when attached, enabling seamless switching between cycling and daily scenarios. The locking base, composed of modular accessories, can be flexibly adapted to various vehicles, such as motorcycles, bicycles, golf carts, yachts, and more. Additionally, this bike mount supports connection to external power sources for continuous wireless charging during rides, achieving a comprehensive expansion from structure to functionality.
