Project Description
The Keen Keyboard, tailored for Japanese input, redefines traditional keyboard layouts to enable smoother and more natural operation.
By fully optimizing the layout and functionality of the left-hand side, the product allows for more convenient switches among number & symbol & shortcut keys, thus enhancing overall operational efficiency. It adopts an innovative layout meticulously designed according to the operating habits and input logic of the left hand, whereby the right hand can focus more on mouse operation. This facilitates the coordinated work of two hands, providing a more intuitive and efficient solution for office users (especially programmers and financial personnel) who require frequent switches between number input and mouse operation. Taking into account the job characteristics of its target users, the keyboard subtly rearranges the frequently used symbol keys, potentially doubling working efficiency compared to its traditional counterparts. Moreover, it features four customized function keys for common shortcuts (cut/copy/paste, etc.). Such a design frees users from remembering and performing complex and cumbersome key combinations, contributing to convenient, smooth office work while better meeting their individual needs.
The product also prioritizes comfort and health. The spherical keycaps with a concave surface closely fit the fingertips to offer a more comfortable and natural typing experience; certain keys boast a flat keycap to set them apart from those with a spherical one, assisting users in blind operation for improved efficiency. Furthermore, the keyboard, with a specially designed inclination of -6°, perfectly fits the natural curve of the user’s wrists during operation, further enhancing comfort of use. The optimized switch structure reduces keystroke noise to 25-30 dB while ensuring typing comfort, greatly eliminating noise interference to create a more tranquil working environment for users. In addition, the keycaps are specially added with antibacterial silver ions to effectively inhibit bacterial growth, hygienic and safe.
