About

Internationally renowned project coordinator
Former PR committee member of Japan Interior Design Association (JCD)
Current President and Representative Director of BAMBOO MEDIA Co., Ltd.
Also the editor-in-chief of BAMBOO MEDIA, Japan's largest interior design magazine
As a Japanese initiator, he successfully established BAMBOO Design Award in collaboration with well-known interior designers in Japan, Hong Kong, China, and other Asian countries.
In view of its contribution to Japan and the Asia-Pacific region, the Japan Interior Design Association established the "Oikawa Prize" in his name
Because he has a pivotal position in the interior design industry, he is privately called the "big brother" by people in the interior design industry in Japan.
Mr. Oikawa is not only committed to the exchange of designers in Japan, but also attaches great importance to the interactive exchanges in Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea and other Asian regions.
He often said that competition is not internal friction but mutual promotion. If the interior design industry in Asia wants to become bigger and stronger, it must increase industry exchanges in the region.
