Hi-Fi Disco Bar Chaos

by sawa architects

Project Description

A music bar designed in Maruyamacho, Shibuya, centered around enjoying records from the 1970s and 80s.
Even the sound system uses vintage equipment from the era, creating a space where visitors can experience not only the music, but also the atmosphere of the time itself.
The interior is inspired by the “future” imagined in the 1970s, drawing from Space Age design and American disco culture.
Red lighting, curved furniture, mirrored ceilings, and geometric-patterned floors come together to create a surreal atmosphere, almost like a scene from a movie.
A small listening room hidden within Shibuya, made for slowly immersing yourself in music.
