Floral Fragrance Domain

This project makes a compelling first impression through its vibrant, avant-garde use of color and iconography across a 112 $m^2$ interior. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, the design translates floral and avian motifs into organic curves that define the residence's structural and decorative language. From the fluid silhouettes of the furniture and textiles to the bespoke lighting and hardware, a sophisticated dialogue emerges between elegant Oriental elements and expressive Western aesthetics, creating an immersive sanctuary characterized by artistic depth and visual impact.
The public realm integrates the living area, dining room, and a window-side tea lounge within a cohesive, open-plan layout. These functional zones are unified by a masterfully executed ceiling featuring a singular lateral chamfered elevation. High-saturation orange-red lacquer glass serves as the primary finish for the focal walls in both the living and dining areas. While the living area is articulated with metallic shelving, the dining space is punctuated by contrasting abstract artwork, ensuring a balanced distribution of visual weight. This kaleidoscopic yet harmonious color palette elevates the rituals of daily life with a sense of poetic imagination.
Each of the three bedrooms is defined by a distinct thematic identity. The master suite extends the architectural ceiling treatment found in the public areas to subtly resolve structural beam constraints while concealing HVAC returns and indirect lighting. In the first secondary bedroom, an ingenious headboard featuring three overlapping, staggered semicircular panels in floral upholstery effectively minimizes the presence of the overhead bulkhead. The second secondary bedroom utilizes a warm gray foundation accented by bold blocks of yellow, green, and burgundy, evoking a sense of curated energy and personalized modern aesthetic.
