Project Description
Compagno is a screenless smart hearable designed specifically for seniors living alone, seamlessly blending daily audio features with "relational AI companionship." Powered by long-term relational memory models, family voice cloning, and edge computing, Compagno abandons cold, command-based interactions. By integrating an exclusive family knowledge base, the system engages seniors in deeply empathetic, continuous conversations using the familiar voices of their loved ones, all while securely processing sensitive data on-device.
Transcending conventional physiological monitoring, the product cultivates a non-intrusive "emotional presence." It aims to rebuild psychological connections between solitary seniors and their distant families, pioneering a shift in eldercare technology—from passive monitoring to a profound safeguarding of seniors' dignity and emotional security.
I am a Product Designer at Wand, where I lead product and interaction design for large-scale consumer platforms serving millions of users worldwide. I specialize in designing for complexity, thriving precisely where unfamiliar technologies and human needs collide.
My work has been honored by the world’s most prestigious design awards, including the Red Dot Award, the IDA Design Awards, and the MUSE Design Awards etc. I am also featured by multiple international journals.
