Inspired by Tao Yuanming's ideal dwelling, it incorporates five quintessential elements—forest, stream, wilderness, seclusion, and courtyard—crafting a modern landscape experience that unfolds as a circular layout with three gardens and twelve distinct zones, evoking the timeless charm of Eastern garden living.
Entrance Ceremony-Oriental Rites of Bathing in the Light and Returning to the Hall
The entrance, embodying the community's first impression, opens with the grandeur of a prestigious household. Laid out across the space, the undulating planting beds create a visually expansive layout, while the exquisite flowing water feature walls and carefully selected arborvitae trees with floral borders add subtle touches. This design harmonizes the solemnity of formal courtyards with the warm, down-to-earth charm of Chengdu's streets.
Mengze's Hidden Realm-Tea Garden Without Boundaries
Inspired by the 'Maple Leaf Season at Hongxi Nuoya', the atrium features a serene Chinese tallow tree grove, complemented by Chengdu's distinctive tea fields and streamside moss landscapes, creating a vibrant and natural pure forest space.
From cascading waterfalls emerging from rock crevices to mirror-like serene lake surfaces, the design team meticulously selected natural landscape stones to achieve seamless integration with the natural environment.
The recessed area is a shelter for the soul.
The body sinks into the plush cushion, enveloped by the natural stone and creamy soft padding.
We have 'lightly placed' the tea room in the courtyard, creating a relaxed yet subtly luxurious gathering space. The space is naturally fluid, adorned with clusters of greenery, while the courtyard's interconnected areas showcase a natural aesthetic.
Taohuawu Tea House – A Club Without Boundaries
The elevated space is an open-air tea garden with a roof. Breaking away from the conventional practice of using plants to conceal architectural corners, it blends the elevated space with the landscape, creating the "Taohuawu Tea Room" where one can listen to rain under the eaves and brew tea on the stones, recreating the Eastern poetic imagery of "picking chrysanthemums beneath the eastern fence."
