Short summary
Aims to create a fun and user friendly mall, by using warm touch materials and colour. “It’s my mall” is the concept., we hope this mall becomes a place that we meet friends, enjoy every moment with family.
Harmony for family, express imagination for children.
Project description
Client want to renovate the mall into a more user friendly and fun mall for family and kids. At main entrance area, led column link up to the ceiling aims to create commercial atmosphere and marketing purposed. “House-shaped’ open ceiling at center area is a pop-up store and performance area. Well-designed ceiling with light track system provided efficient lighting effect, fulfill different function and event.
At 2nd floor, we created 4 big umbrella with plants to cover the kids retail area, provides an outdoor feeling with blue painted sky. Public corridor are using 2 colour PVC as a running track. Children will love to enjoy education and fun at this floor.
All toilets are well-planned such as baby changing room, disabled, mother and children toilet...etc, A street corner feeling is adapted for customers to do charging and rest.
Overall facade will be renovated and completed by the end of 2018.
Why I should win
We know what customers want at Beijing this area, they do not want a high-end, luxury mall. A user friendly, warm touch, and big umbrella ceiling will be their favorite atmosphere to see. Beijing’s weather is cold particularly in winter, therefore “warm” and “comfortable” is their ideally mall to stay with.
We dared to use new treatment for ceiling- at 1st floor, a “house-shaped “ ceiling system creates my home feeling, at 2nd floor-all children will love to see colourful umbrella and blue sky, instead of typical ceiling system, we combined the lighting system and creative ideas for the mall, advocate rewarding our child for good imagination.
We want customers feeling the differences between other malls, and it's the mall particularly designed for them!
